What kind of music was this for a boss fight? It made you feel sad.
Then again, you didn't actually want to hurt him. Sure, he was
annoying and mean-spirited. But a lot of people are.
As you debated what to do, he poked you in the eyes and laughed
maniacally.
"I'm gonna kill you. I'm gonna kill you," he said.
He sounded - almost - as if he was reassuring himself.

Well, you'd better fight back. The thought of kicking his ass was
sort of gratifying, you supposed.
Still, you weren't exactly the violent type.
